Inland Regional Center Social Recreation: FAQ for Families and Providers
Inland Regional Center serves people with developmental disabilities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. One thing it can fund is social recreation: classes, camps and activities in the community, like dance, art and music.
This page answers common questions from both sides: families who want to use that funding, and studio owners who want to accept it. We're independent and don't speak for Inland Regional Center. For decisions about your own services, your service coordinator is the person to ask.
For families: how to ask for social recreation, camp or art/dance/music in your IPP
For providers: vendored, FMS (459) or parent reimbursement, and what each means for you

About The Vendor Desk
Hi, I'm Tawny Elizondo. I live in the Inland Empire, and I spent nearly 3 years working inside Inland Regional Center. I don't work there now, and I have no role in or influence over who gets vendored.
I started The Vendor Desk because the process really isn't that hard once someone explains it in plain English. I help dance schools, art studios, music teachers and camps in Riverside and San Bernardino counties get their paperwork ready, for a flat fee.
- I do: help you decide whether you need to vendor at all, find your likely code, prepare your paperwork with you and guide you through the DDS Provider Directory.
- I don't: work for or speak for Inland Regional Center or DDS, use your login, sign or submit for you, give legal or tax advice, or guarantee approval or referrals.
